
What did i exactly do to get my hair to retain length, moisture & protein balance, and over-all health?
Here is my weekly regimen that I currently follow!
- Tuesday: Cowash with moisturizing conditioner.
- Thursday: Shampoo with a moisturizing shampoo; Proceed with a light protein treatment & deep moisturizing conditioning.
- Sunday: Cowash with moisturizing conditioner.
- Daily: moisturize and seal
- Every wash/cowash day: apply oil/massage scalp with JBCO (jamaican black castor oil) or regular castor oil.

- As needed: Clarify with a clarifying shampoo... the most i'll do it is 1x a month.
- Stretching my relaxer (waiting 10 weeks or more between relaxers). This promotes a healthier scalp and less breakage, versus that unhealthy advice that some stylists give the general public, of relaxing every 4 to 6 weeks. That is murdering your hair and scalp.
- Using very little heat during relaxer stretches (reduce flat ironing, blow drying)
- Detangling/Combing in the SHOWER ONLY!! Underneath running water when cowashing. This helps reduce breakage. The water and conditioner do the job together!
