Initial Product Stash & Review

These are products that I initially started using at the start of my hair journey. Some I am still using, others I discontinued using because they weren't working for me. I can't guarantee that they will or will not work for anyone else. Everyone's hair is different, but there is such a thing as 'trial and error' when it comes to starting a hair journey. I went through it for about a month or two. So make sure you 'listen' to your hair when you are testing these products or any other hair products. If need be, buy small packs/small quantity bottles of the products you wish to test out.

First stash of my hair journey:

ElastaQP Shampoo for relaxed hair - I am still using this product. It left my hair pretty soft and smooth after wash and it was easy to detangle my hair with it.

Creme of Nature Kiwi & Citrus Ultra Moisturizing Shampoo - It leaves my hair soft, but not as soft as Elasta QP does. Downside: the scent actually made my eyes burn for some reason. so i am using it gradually till it runs out.

ApHogee Provitamin Leave-in - Its a great protein based leave in conditioner. I balance it out with a moisturizing leave in.

Organic Root Stimulator Replenishing conditioner - I love this stuff, specially after a relaxer. It makes sure to give your hair the necessary protein/moisture balance. Leave the hair very soft as well.

Suave Tropical Coconut Conditioner - Great cheapie conditioner. Serves for cowashing, detangling, and for mixing into deep conditioners.

Silk Elements Luxury Moisturizing Conditioner - Loved this for mixing in my deep conditioners and great for cowashing as well. It creates great slip*.

V05 Herbal Escapes Moisturizing Conditioner-  It didn't really do much for my hair. It was hard to detangle with it. I ended up using it to stretch out my deep condition mixes.

Silk Elements Moisturizing Leave in - It worked ok for me as both a leave-in and a moisturizer. My hair was pretty soft but i think it could have done better.

More product reviews to come.

*Slip - When using a conditioner, depending on it's properties, if it has good slip, it will be easy and smooth, to detangle the hair strands. Usually, really creamy and thicker moisturizing conditioners will give you better slip, versus, runny or watered down conditioners.

Hace tiempo que estoy buscando varios acondicionadores de Suave y V05, pero en Europa no se puede conseguir.
